Mission:
Provide
support & resources for parent liaisons in CESAs & school districts, &
collaborate with others to develop training & informational materials for
families & the staff that serves them. Parents of children with disabilities
are supported & encouraged to participate meaningfully & equally on IEP teams,
in school advisory functions, & in the education of their children. Parents &
educators are supported & encouraged to build positive, reciprocal
relationships.

Wisconsin
families of children age 3 through 21 who have disabilities & educators who
serve children with disabilities in Wisconsin public schools.

Services Provided:
Information related to children with
disabilities & special education, referral to other agencies & organizations,
assistance with building positive school-family relationships, training &
mentoring, assistance with developing school programs that include parents
(advisory councils, special libraries, etc.)
Additional Comments:
Some materials
are available in English, Spanish & Hmong.
Main office and CESAs are wheelchair accessible. Translators, interpreters &
TTY are not immediately available at main office but typically are available
with advance notice through CESAs & school districts.
