Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The purpose of the Council as an advocate shall be to provide advisory and consultative services to the Wisconsin Bureau for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (formerly Office for the Hearing Impaired, formerly Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing). It may also provide advice related to significant decisions and actions of the Bureau for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing,  Division of Supportive Living, Department of Health and Family Services. Where needed and/or requested, the Council may provide advisory and consultative services to governmental bodies, private groups or individuals.
