PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH
DISABILITIES OR SPECIAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS

Have you ever wondered what Medicaid covers?
Have you been confused by denials from your health insurance provider?
Do you want to make sure that you never again say, "I wish I had that
information for my child"?

If you answered YES, then this training is for you!

Family Voices of Wisconsin, in collaboration with the Southern Regional
Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs Center invites you to a
two-part training for parents of children and youth with disabilities and/or
special health care needs.

This training is a crash course in the fundamentals of health care coverage
and community supports for your child.

You will meet other families and learn about accessing community supports,
how to maximize public support programs, including Medicaid and its waiver
programs, how to help your child while you are on waiting lists for
services. You will also receive much information that will be useful for
your family. Light meal/refreshments served.


Part 1 of the training will be held on:

Part 2 of the training held on:
Saturday January 21st 9-12 Noon

SNOW DATES: Tuesday January 17 and Saturday January 28, respectably.
Cancellation will be announced by 4:00 PM Tuesday and 6:00 AM Saturday.
