Wisconsin Office of Health Care Information
Wisconsin's Office of Health Care Information (OHCI) collects and reports
utilization and charge data on hospitals, hospital discharges, hospital-based
outpatient surgeries and selected freestanding ambulatory surgeries
throughout Wisconsin. It also compiles profile information about other health
care providers, such as physicians and nurses.
OHCI now features on-line access to its health information data bases,
with one set of interactive tools for the general public and another for those
more familiar with health data terminology. OHCI also publishes regular,
periodic reports about the data it collects and welcomes requests for data
from providers, purchasers and consumers of health care.
